Comedy. Pole Dancing.

That got your attention, right??  More on that in a minute...but first...

Valentine's Day gift.  I love it when people 'get' my sense of humor!  hashtag sochiproblems.

And THIS.  This definitely made my day!

Now on to the main event.  We went to a Comedy/Pole Dancing show.  What?  That's a normal Valentine's Day activity, right??  :D

This sign was in the bar area.  Not everyone is excited about Chocolate Ale.

And, here's the 'door' that lead to the room that the show was held in.  It was the side of a cardboard box covered in duct tape.  Sketchy.

So this show.  It's a New York-based show, and they brought it here to KC last night.  What can I say, curiosity got the better of us!

 The show alternated between pole dancers (NOT strippers, they got that straight right off the bat!) and comedians.

These girls were actually quite athletic.  

 This girl's one and only task was to climb up the pole after each dancer and clean the pole.  I'll reserve comment.  Anything I would say would probably be inappropriate!  

See?  there were comedians too, not just pole dancers!  They were just ok.  They all had very similar joke telling styles.  I would've like to see more variety and also intertwine the two types of acts somehow.  But, now we can say we've been!
