Blankets for Bulldogs!

A local shelter that I follow recently took in 2 bulldogs that were in pretty bad shape from mistreatment.  I obviously cannot add them to my collection, but I CAN do something to make them more comfortable during their stay at the shelter while being nursed back to health and waiting for their forever homes!

I went to JoAnn's fabric.  Mistake #1 (according to Mom) was going to a fabric store.  Mistake #2 was going on a Saturday.  The 'Now Serving' counter resets at 100.  I was number 33.  Half hour (and several annoying customers later)...

 Then I had to wait in a half hour line that wrapped around and continued up the main aisle of the store.  I guess this is what happens to some people after having to stand in a line for 30 minutes.

 I get the fabric home, and it turns into a soft and squishy napping spot for Sadie.  She thinks those bulldogs at the shelter do not need this fabric.  She thinks instead I should give the bulldogs in her house to that shelter too, so that they have some new friends.  She thinks new friends are way better than new blankets.
