And we're back! My computer crashed on New Year's Eve. Luckily, Dad has 'The Knack' and through phone calls and emails he was able to walk me through trouble-shooting and fixes, and I'm back up and running without having to have spent hundreds of dollars at the Apple store getting it fixed! Hooray for Popi!
And now on to our regularly scheduled program. Christmas Eve in Clearwater, and Kristin's legendary party!
Kris is so organized with her prep.
Aiden was so excited about the gift that he (and Mike) got Kristin, he couldn't wait for Christmas Day and wanted her to open it Christmas Eve Day...it was a very pretty Pandora bracelet with a couple of charms that he picked out.
Prep, prep, and more prep!
Check out this handsome kid!
Goose and Mav are ready to party. Or nap. Whichever.
I was trying to take a photo of all of the pretty food...but...
More food...everything was SO GOOD.
Big plate of meatballs.
After dinner conversations.
Mike was having trouble lighting their new gas heater. Everyone moved to the other side of the table, but they totally have faith in him.
Aiden took a break to make some of his lovely...finger-crochet?...bracelets. He had a lot of orders to fulfill! Want a custom color? You'll have to go buy him the materials. He takes after his mother.
Kris and Mike's new niece Ainsley stopped by to say hello! What a little doll she is!
Drink too much to drive, take a cab, leave your truck at the party where an off-duty cop is at, your truck gets decorated.
Party over. Relaxing with a little Moscato in a plastic cup. We like to keep it high-brow on Christmas Eve.
Aiden went to bed, but before he did, he left this (hilarious) note for Santa, some cookies & milk and carrots for the reindeer. Oh, and for Santa's convenience, Aiden left a copy of his wish list with the gifts that he'd already received crossed off. The return lines after Christmas are a nightmare, you know. You're welcome, Santa.
...to be continued...
