Ornament Exchange!

Our Book Club was all set to meet last Tuesday night, but too many people had conflicts so it has been rescheduled for January.  Which was probably a good thing, with my nasty head cold, I'm sure people would not have wanted me around and would not have eaten anything I brought to share!

We were going to exchange ornaments at the meeting, which will also be postponed until January.  The only rule was that it had to be book-themed.  So, you know me, any excuse to craft and make something!  

I found a 'vintage' cookie cutter in the shape of a house, then I bought a cheap copy of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.  I ripped out the pages and cut them into 1" strips.  I coiled the strips into various thicknesses, hot-glued them into the cookie cutter and added a piece of twine to hang it.
