For the Fun Team's spring event, we decided to celebrate the beginning of baseball and served ball field snacks on the same day as the Royal's home opener. I rented a popcorn machine, we had a little popcorn toppings bar, and we also served nachos, cracker jack and lemonade.
With everything I have going on right now, I had to keep the poster simple, so it look me literally 20 minutes to throw this one together! I came *this close to using a Cardinals hat on the poster, but decided not to push it!
The set-up crew. Seeing Mari Beth squeeze out as much of that fake cheese out as she could kinda grossed me out a bit! That and the solid form of the oil/'butter' mixture that we popped the popcorn in!
The line formed about 30 seconds after the announcement was made. Don't get in-between an engineer and his free food!
Last week was also our monthly book club meeting. On the schedule was Monuments Men. I didn't have time to read it, and I guess I wasn't the only one, so instead we all went to see the movie!
Our group had the entire theatre to ourselves, which was nice.
Usually I'm the ninja photographer, but Ashley has picked up a few of my tricks! I didn't even know she had taken this until she posted it on FB! I really enjoyed the movie, if you haven't seen it, I'd recommend it.
