It was raining pretty good, but we decided to head out to the Olathe fireworks show anyway. We got there around 8:30 and found an excellent parking spot - probably due to people either staying home or giving up and going home - where we could actually see them setting them off. The rain was steady, but we saw a lot of activity on the ground where they were shooting from, and every 5-10 or so they would set off a single shot. We took that to mean that they were shooting whether it was raining or not! We (the two of us and a camera tripod) huddled under an umbrella and watched the show! If you look closely in some of the shots you can actually see the rain being highlighted by the fireworks.
