Cold and Muddy? Perfect for a Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze!

Today we braved the cold (48 windy degrees) and headed up north to Liberty to check out Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch and the Liberty Corn Maze. Despite the cold and all of the mud, we had a pretty good time! Next time, we will make sure not to go after several days of rain!

It's Jared being Jared...don't think I need to say much more!

There were a couple of petting/feeding zoos at the pumpkin patch.

Here is the entrance to the corn maze. They give you a map, and you can choose which path to take. The range from .7 miles to over 3 miles. We started out on the .7 mile trail, and somehow ended up on the 3 mile trail! So much for the map!

Perhaps if we weren't reading the map UPSIDE DOWN! :)

The whole trail was like this! Our shoes were caked with mud by the end!

Some parts of the trail were just too muddy, so we went into the rows of corn and made some ground that way. This, coupled with the upside down map, *may* be why we got lost!

And then finally, once we realized we were lost, our shoes were heavy with mud, and we were wet from the corn stalks, we said 'screw this!' and found our own way out and walked back! Good times!
